Lotus Elise Driving Experience

If you are looking for a really fantastic driving experience for yourself or a car enthusiast, then look no further.  The Lotus Elise Experience Days are available to anyone with a driving license and give all drivers the chance to get behind the wheel of an exciting sportscar.  Our Lotus Experiences are not passenger rides or hot laps - the recipient is doing the driving.  Lotus cars are famous for their lightness and agility which make for unbelievable handling, especially on a race track.

Our Lotus Experience Days takes place at Oulton Park, Cheshire, one of the most picturesque and historic circuits in the country.

Rather than just getting in the car and out again in 4 or 5 laps our experience days are geared towards giving the driver enough time in the car to enable them to get a real feel for how a Lotus handles.  They will be sitting alongside an ARDS (Association of Race Driving Schools) qualified instructor who will ensure their safety while at the same time enabling them to explore the limits of a Lotus. The Experience begins with a safety briefing conducted by the Track Day Organiser who explains the rules and meanings of the various safety flags.  Lambogenie staff will then assist you in getting ready - ensuring the helmet is fitted properly, strapping you in, etc.  Then, with your instructor alongside, you will be doing the driving.  He or she will show you the racing line and braking points as well as teaching you how to drive safely at speed.

The Lotus cars available are two race prepared Elises - an S2 or Sports Tourer - these come complete with roll cage, fire extinguisher, safety cut out, uprated brakes and suspension.

We aim to give you between 1 hour and 1 1/2 hours of actual driving - you'll split this into three or four 15 to 20 min slots in a morning or afternoon session.  Our price includes the hire of the car, instructor, fuel, car insurance, helmet hire, hospitatlity and VAT.  You can buy this Experience as an open ended gift voucher which makes a good birthday or Christmas present.
